The National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) is thrilled to announce the 3rd Annual NUST Summer School on Climate Change (NSSCC), an immersive learning experience designed to empower the next generation of climate leaders. This intensive program equips students with the crucial knowledge and leadership skills needed to tackle the urgent challenges of the climate crisis.

Empowering Young Climate Leaders

NSSCC is specifically designed for passionate students aged 16 to 25 from across Pakistan. The program offers a dynamic blend of:

  • Expert-Led Lectures: Gain insights from leading national and international experts in climate science, policy, and sustainable development.
  • Hands-On Workshops: Develop practical skills through interactive sessions focused on real-world problem-solving.
  • Real-World Case Studies: Analyze and learn from successful climate action initiatives and understand the complexities of environmental challenges.

The curriculum covers critical themes, including:

  • Climate and Public Health: Exploring the direct and indirect health impacts of climate change and potential solutions.
  • Water-Climate Nexus: Understanding the intricate relationship between water resources and climate variability.

  • Duration: 18th – 22nd August 2025 | 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Registration Packages:
    • PKR 10,000: Includes lunch for all 5 days + full program access.
    • PKR 20,000: Includes meals + accommodation for 6 nights + full program access.

📍 Karachi Chapter – NUST PNEC, Karachi

  • Duration: 25th – 29th August 2025 | 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Registration Packages:
    • PKR 5,000: Includes lunch for all 5 days + full program access.
    • PKR 10,000: Includes meals + accommodation for 6 nights + full program access.

The Karachi Chapter will maintain the same spirit of collaboration, learning, and innovation that defines NSSCC, while focusing on pertinent local issues.
